Mr Andrew Birzgalis - FRCS(Orl)

Andrew is an experienced Consultant ENT Surgeon with expertise in all aspects of adult and paediatric Otolaryngology. He has a particular interest in head and neck conditions, thyroid and salivary gland surgery.

His NHS bases are Wythenshawe and Christie Hospitals in South Manchester and he consults privately at the Alexandra Hospital, Cheadle.

He is a Manchester graduate who trained in all aspects of general surgery before specialising in ENT. He became a Consultant ENT surgeon in 1994 after completing his  higher surgical ENT training in the North West Deanery and at various specialised centres in the United States.

In addition to his clinical commitments, Andrew is actively involved in teaching, research and audit.
